University of Amsterdam: Music Cognition Group: A recently updated website at the University of Amsterdam on Music Cognition, bringing together lots of information, sounds examples, video fragments, etc. on topics from the intersection of psychology, computer science, and the music sciences.

Auditory Research Lab - McGill University: The Auditory Research Laboratory specializes in the study of the perceptual organization of sound.

The Center for New Music and Audio Technologies: (CNMAT) A music research, teaching, recording and performance facility striving to promote, produce and present the creative interaction between music and technology. A satellite of the University of California, Berkeley Department of Music drawing participants from many university departments including physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, psychology, computer science, cognitive science and music.

The Hearing Health Care Research Unit: An interdisciplinary group of researchers studying several aspects of hearing loss, including assessment, treatment, assistive device fitting, and behavioral and electroacoustic evaluation of assistive devices. International Community for Auditory Display: (ICAD) A forum for presenting research on the use of sound to display data, monitor systems, and provide enhanced user interfaces for computers and virtual reality systems. Unique in its singular focus on auditory displays and the array of perception, technology, and application areas that this encompasses.

Michigan State Acoustics/Psychoacoustics: A group of researchers who aim to understand how the human brain processes sound by making mathematical models of the perception process and testing these models against experiments on human listeners.

Music Cognition at Ohio State: The music cognition program, an interdisciplinary program affiliated with the Center for Cognitive Science, includes the largest concentration of critical scholars working in music perception, performance, cognition, and theory at any university. Unit for the Study of Musical Skill and Development: Homepage of group of researchers at Keele University, Staffordshire whose goals are: to promote and carry out research in psychological aspects of music; to develop interdisciplinary co-operation in such research, particularly between psychologists, cognitive scientists, musicians, and educationalists; to foster regional, national, and international links between individuals and organisations with related research interests; and to promote education and training in the psychology of music, particularly at postgraduate and continuing professional development levels.

Acoustics Research Letters Online: (ARLO) is an online electronic letters journal of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) devoted to research in all fields of acoustics.

APA Journals: Searchable database of the APA Journals.

Computer Music Journal: (CMJ) A quarterly journal that covers a wide range of topics related to digital audio signal processing and electroacoustical music. CMJ is published (as hardcopy) by MIT Press and is now in its 20th year. 

Empirical Musicology Review. An online journal that aims to facilitate communication and debate between scholars engaged in systematic and observation-based music scholarship. Published six times per year by the Ohio State University Library.

SMPC 07 was be held in August 2007 in Montreal, hosted by Concordia University and organized by Christine Beckett.

8th International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition: (ICMPC) August 3-7, 2004. Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA. This interdisciplinary conference presents a variety of aspects of music perception and cognition: psychoacoustics, music performance, musical development, music modeling, music analysis, neuro-psychology, psychomusicology, music sociology, and other related fields of enquiry.
