Kelly Jakubowski

Kelly Jakubowski is an Associate Prof of Music Psychology at Durham University. Her research areas include the basis of music-evoked memories, the experience of musical imagery including earworms, and aesthetic preferences for musical rhythms. She has been active in broadening the cross-cultural research of the issues she studies in this research. Her research has been well funded by UK agencies and she currently has funding from both the Leverhulm Trust and the Arts & Humanities Research council. Kelly has contributed to diversity both in the cross-cultural scope of her research, including representative sampling methods, and in her mentorship of students from underrepresented groups.
